We are the ideal Partner for the development phases of a Hybrid Powertrain, Full Electric or a new high voltage on-board architecture. Following the customer’s processes and «design rules», our technicians provide support throughout the development of new systems: from technological scouting to the development of functional and technical requirements. Subsequently, the System Architecture and Cad Design is created, supported by our project managers. Finally we move on to the Verification & Validation phase, HW & SW, following the regulations in force (ISO26262, etc.)
Our expertise is able to develop System’s Architecture and CAD design, supported by our project managers. Thereafter, we can move on the field of Validation phase, both HW and SW, following the related regulations, as foreseen on “V cycle” ISO 26262.
Embedded software development
ADAS systems (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) represent the beginning of a revolution for the automotive world, integrating assisted driving functions to the vehicle in order to make it increasingly safe and oriented towards a driverless future. Autonomous driving technologies are classified into 6 levels (from 0 to 5) in compliance with the Sae Standard J3016. From a level zero (without any automation) we arrive at a level 5 of autonomous driving, in which human intervention is no longer necessary.
The European Union has approved the concept of “automatic driving system” by introducing level 3 ADAS on the market. In the near future it will be possible to reach the highest level of application of ADAS systems, through the implementation of machine learning systems, of artificial intelligence and thanks to the advances in Information Technology.
The EU regulation 2019/2144, also called the General Safety Regulation (GSR), concerns the general safety of vehicles and the protection of occupants and other vulnerable road users. Starting from 6 July 2022, the new homologations must be equipped with the following ADAS safety systems: AlcooLock, Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA), Driver Drowsiness Detection (DDD), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK), Event Data Recorder (EDR). At ERRE we contribute daily to the evolution of personal and collective mobility. Our highly qualified engineers support customers in interpreting the new technologies available, with the aim of directing investments towards the greatest competitive advantage.
Through the use of the most advanced HW and SW tools, we develop integration, verification and functional validation projects for on-board HMI and Infotainment systems, both for the physical and electronic parts of the vehicle. Always looking to the future, the Vehicle Function Design team creates the most advanced integrated systems with which all vehicles registered starting from 7 July 2024 must be equipped.
